Guests get free e-bikes for the stay, so getting around town is easy even without a car. If you're here for the mountain, Whitefish Mountain Resort is 15 minutes by car, or you can catch the free S.N.O.W. Bus a few blocks from the door, the resort has over 3,000 acres of award-winning terrain. Whitefish Lake is just as close: the bike path starts at the end of the block, about a 20-minute walk or 10 minutes by bike to City Beach. A full bathroom with a tile shower serves this floor and the loft above it. Speaking of which, that spiral staircase in the living room leads up to bedroom 4, the loft. To be clear: it's not a closed-off room with a door, it's an open space with a queen-size sofa sleeper, and it works best for kids, an extra couple, or anyone who doesn't mind an open layout. If everyone in your group needs a private room, plan around the 3 bedrooms downstairs and think of the loft as bonus space. Floor three finishes with big windows and a sliding door out to the patio, where there's a private hot tub, a grill, and seating with a straight-on view of Big Mountain.
