The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. „This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. It's tucked away in a small neighborhood right next to downtown Howell, nice and quiet on an inlet to the nearby lake, with everything you would want within 5-10 minutes (groceries, restaurants, pharmacy, etc.). „This is our 2nd time staying at Patricia’s lovely home. My bother is ill and the hospital is in close proximity so we had no hesitation in booking another week with her. She is a wonderful host, responds immediately, addresses concerns quickly - although nothing was major - and genuinely cares about her renters. If we have to go back to this area again we are not wanting to stay any place else. It is warm and comfortably designed, thank you again for sharing your beautiful home!“

„Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.“
