Hotels Whinfell

„Schön gelegenes Mittelklass-Hotel. Zu empfehlen. Gastro-Angebot mittelmässig. Sonst zu empfehlen,“

„Super gelegen, Country Stil, tolle Räumlichkeiten, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Dürfte etwas schneller aufräumen bzw. abräumen im Restaurant Bereich z. B. beim Frühstück oder in der Bar.“

„Altmodische Ausstattung, kleines Zimmer, dreckig teilweise (Haare)“

„Sehr nettes Personal, schönes Schwimmbad, gut gelegen.“

„Exceptional stay! Beautiful breakfast, great location and very clean! Would highly recommend.“

„We had cabin 1 and it was great. Hot tub, wood, everything was lovely and well thought out. Everything you need was there“

„We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there“

„Nice, Big Room! Beautiful Decorated House. Helpful and Friendly staff.“

„Sehr schönes und hübsches Landhotel. Zimmer war sehr neu renoviert und sauber! Lage etwas ausserhalb, aber kein Problem. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend.“

„Tyyypisch Englisch ... das Familienzimmer entpuppte sich als geräumiges 3-Zimmer Appartment; Sehr gute Küche und guter Service.“

„The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again“

„The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular ...

„Sehr gute Küche des "Chefs" im doppelten Wortsinne, sehr angenehmes Ambiente in einem herrlich gelegenen Country House mit Seeblick in schönster Lass-District- Umgebung und ausgesprochen freundliches Personal sorgten für einen sehr erholsamen und inspirierenden Urlaub“

„Friendly staff, large rooms, great choice at breakfast all freshly cooked. Will visit again!“
