„Fantastic getaway with our kids (10 and 6). The house was so cozy and felt like such a home. Well equipped and hosts were so lovely! We enjoyed walking around Charlottesville, doing hikes and sitting by the fire and reading! Beds were very comfortable and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! „House was clean, nicely arranged and very spacious. The only issue we experienced was with the front door. Upon arriving the deadbolt which is controlled by a key pad unlocked however, the doorknob was also locked. We called the number listed on VRBO and received tje automatic VRBO line and was extremely unhelpful. „Check-in time of 4pm is unacceptable, especially with check-out time of 10am. Paying for two nights and not receiving the full 48 hours is an issue. The national park was closed the duration of my trip, which was unfortunate. This cottage is nice for a couple's retreat if you're doing wine tasting tours. “

„Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. „The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. "My stay at the hotel was okay overall. The room looked clean at first glance, but there was a very unpleasant, musty smell that reminded me of mold. Although the room appeared tidy, the odor made the stay uncomfortable. The hallway floors were also quite dirty, which left a poor impression. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They really tried to make the stay better. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during my visit, which was disappointing. Overall, it was an average experience: friendly staff but issues with cleanliness and maintenance. "
