„This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. “

Everything on Skye is easy to reach by car, but also public transport is available several times a day. And the owner was so friendly and helpful!“

„Es war sehr schön in Mor Carraig, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und die Aussicht auf Loch Ness und die Umbegung ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind angenehm und sauber. Die Heizung in dieser Jahreszeit war ein wenig herausfordernd, aber Gren war sehr freundlich und hat uns sofort geholfen. Wir würden wieder hinreisen.“

„The Hen House was lovely! It really was pretty, comfortable and finished to an incredibly high standard. The estate is beautiful and we happened to stay during a midsummer fair, which was fantastic. The hot tub was in dire need of a deep chemical clean. The tubes connected to the fire were leaking bits of dirt. Also the check out time being 10am is quite early when it is self catering and you’ll also need to pack a car. Overall I would highly reccomend a stay here. “

Even though it's in an area with other homes, it doesn't have any homes close and the views are uninterrupted. The hosts were very communicative and I felt that if we had any trouble they would have been right there to help us. However, we didn't encounter any problems and enjoyed out stay very much! If you stay there, don't miss the Fiddlers Highland Restaurant which serves delicious food and has an excellent selection of whisky. “
