Cottage in West Witton finden – gemütliches Ferienhaus auf dem Land mieten

„A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking“

„A very quiet location in a rural area, ideal position for visiting towns in the area such as Hawes, Leyburn etc. The cottage overlooks fields and stables in the distance, there is a lot of wildlife, rabbits ,squirrels, to see along with the owners ducks, chickens and two cheeky dachshunds. We found the best Coop for supplies was to be found at Masham not far away with easy parking.“

„Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous. The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries. Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels. Will visit again“

„The cottage was lovely with many traditional features. Lovely views. Enough local amenities for any stay, plus you get to see lots of horses!“

„Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved. The cottage had everything we needed. A very well equiped kitchen, and we were happy to see for the first time in all our rentals, proper Gin glasses! Large, quality wine glasses too. In fact, the cottage was equipped with quality ...

„Lovely place“

„Cottage in a beautiful area, cottage nestled in the heart of an unspoilt village. Cosy, well equipped, private and a perfect little bolthole.“

„Great location and lovely cottage. Very comfortable. It has been perfect for my needs. If I could suggest any improvement, it would be to change the upstairs bathroom matting as it’s looking discoloured and dirty. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will definitely be back “

„Lovely cosy cottage with great views Excellent facilities in the kitchen . Close by Richmond ,Hawes, Leyburn.Would definitely stay again.“

„The property was very comfortable and in a fantastic location for walking. It stayed cool during the very hot weather. The only problem was that we couldn’t get the car charger to work and this was one of our reasons for booking the property. There were no instructions for it.“

„We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.“

„Very cosy house. Perfect for three adults on a walking holiday. Lovely hot shower. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for many lovely walks. Shame about the soft mattresses in the twin room. Otherwise faultless. “

„Really comfortable and big enough that my whole family could sleep comfortably.“

„Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage ist fantastisch. Gegenüber ist der Dales Bike Center. Wo ist guten Kuchen gibt und Frühstück. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen. Im Außenbereich gibt es eine Terrasse und bei schönem Wetter hat man eine herrliche Aussicht.“

„Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. We will definitely be back.“

„Incredible location for walking and enjoying swaledale. House is comfortable and well provisioned, fantastic host. Whole place could do with a deep clean though and the mattress is knackered 😂 We had a great time“

„Nice cottage although miles from anywhere. Pub nice and friendly.“
