Awful....

Mildew smell, bugs/spiders on bed and in kitchen drawers, would not use refrigerator to store food as it was filthy, blinds were filthy, very dated/worn furniture. The bicycles listed in the pictures and under the amenities are not present. I contacted the owner, which had zero concerns. Also, the property is For Sale. When we arrived were we asked if we could leave the property for the showing the next day at 4:00 PM. The property attendant was lovely and very kind, which was appreciated. Ultimately, VBRO moved us to a hotel and provided a refund.

Great location, less so for the accommodations

The unit is in a cute neighborhood, near some nice restaurants, and close enough to downtown that you can use Circuit for free rides to/from downtown. The backyard is nice with all the shade and orchids on trees. We stayed 8 days and the heat for the pool wasn't working until our last day. With it being mostly in shade all day, heat is necessary. Not a single bike was remotely rideable (missing seat, bent rim, rusty chains). They were removed on our second day and not replaced. Neither of the grills was functional the entire stay. In the unit, all of the furniture and fixtures were peeling, dinted, rusty, split seams, etc. with the exception of the futon, which was uncomfortable. 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 2 people with an 8 day stay. No oven mitt. The place was not clean - food on backsplash, dusty blinds in kitchen with food on them too. Some dishes in the cupboards were dirty. Floors were dirty on Day 1. Plus, there were no cleaning supplies beyond dish soap and a dish scrubber - no broom, dustpan, cleaning liquid.

Absolutely Despicable

This place is a complete hole in the wall My family and I walked in and walked right back out. It’s dirty with mildew in the bathroom, paint is chipping off kitchen/bathroom cabinets. My son tripped up the broken step into the kitchen, beds are old, smells like a basement. I wouldn’t let my dog stay there. Owner has not returned my calls or text through VRBO, or my money My family and I had to find a hotel to stay in for a week 12/12-19. HORRIBLE ❗️❗️❗️

Safe Neighborhood! Perfect accommodations for our mother daughter friends weekend. Pool was warm. Lots of each towels. Great outdoor seating. Free transportation around Palm Beach and West Palm Beach using Circuit. Rosemary Square within walking distance. Great food, family friendly night life and very clean city.

Grandview Heights Duplex

We stayed here 3 nights with our granddaughter . We loved the privacy the two bedrooms offered us. The pool and outdoor area was a highlight of our stay. The owner was very helpful and prompt when we called. The ONLY suggestion I would make is to have another towel bar by the tub. Thanks for offering up your duplex!

Cold pool, unresponsive owner.

I rented this property for 4 night because it had a heated pool. I also confirmed that a pack and play was available for my grandson. When we arrived, there was no pack and play to be found, and the pool was ice cold. The following afternoon we finally received the pack and play, but the pool heater was not fixed until the 3rd day do our stay. Finally was warm for the last day. Very disappointing.

I would stay in a camp tent before I would come back!

Worst equipped place I ever stayed at. Second bedroom had NO nightstand or lamp. NO floor lamp either. Bathroom had NO towel rack at shower/tub area, had to get out of tub to reach vanity where the towel was. NO sofa/loveseat in living room/tv area. Only had a poorly designed futon to sit on, most uncomfortable! Toilet wouldn’t shut off, kept running for 17 days, even after contacting Peter, the owner/manager. Very poor communication with him, he wouldn’t call me on my cellphone.He knows how bad this place is. Heated pool, not so much! BBQ and table side fireplace both ran out of propane. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

2 out of 5 stars from us

Overall this property was a decent place. But there were several issues that overall has us perturbed. I will get to that next with a list of issues below. Overall, nothing was over the top that we needed to contact Peter on - we just felt like the property wasn't as spectacular as the listing! Decent location, decent setup, etc. but the reason we are giving this 2 stars is because of how dirty this place was. The floor was clean, so on first sight we thought -okay,seems like a great place. Below is a listing of everything we found uncleanly (it's not a short list): -hair on the toilet seat - sand/dirt in a puddle of water in the shower -window seal in shower not even wiped down after last guest, (still soap&water residue) -tried to use a knife from the knife set, had dried food on it -seat cushions near the pool, ALL were filthy dirty with leaves &stains(nothing like the pictures!) I understand that there were lots of trees&debris, but a simple cleaning once in awhile wouldn't look nearly the way this looked) -BOTH beds had HUGE stains on the comforters about the size of basketballs,1 bed even had stains all of over the sheets (it was honestly 1 of the grossest things) -pieces of hair (which i understand can be inevitable but it was to the point where you know it wasn't even clean) on the pillows&comforter I truly cannot see how everyone is saying this place is immaculate. It was the furthest thing from immaculate, let alone even clean. The sheets just seemed stained so we didn't bother to complain &just tore the comforter off the bed. Other cons: -the pool is nearly completely covered with shade with all of the trees overgrown (again, nothing like the pictures). -FYI if you sit at the pool, we got bit with so many mosquitoes DURING THE DAY within a few hours we had to leave. I wouldn't plan to spend much time at this pool. It was nice they had pool lights on in the evening &rafts to lay out on..but just overall not the most relaxing experience we were expecting to have. Communication with Peter was subpar. Nothing terrible but again subpar. The checkin experience was great. He answered right away& gave us so many details without asking. BUT when we needed him during our stay, he didn't really respond. I will say there was a lot of outdoor area to sit at. Overall I am just really disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. It was terrible. We don't complain easily, so I still can't believe these other reviews didn't note these issues!!

Nice Property, Good Value

Lovely pool and gardens. Our lower unit was well equipped with built in closets and a dresser in each bedroom. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of hangars. We took our meals out, but the kitchen seemed well stocked with dining-in necessities. Lower bungalow is perfect for a small dog. We felt comfortable walking him around the neighborhood. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. Peter and Bethany were ever-available if needed. We enjoyed our 5 days there!

Friendly Comfortable Stay

This place is a classy place for a getaway tucked away just outside of the ritzy business district of West Palm Beach. Close to lots of local restaurants and a short drive from all of the nationally recognized chains as well. The owners are very accommodating and almost always available within a short time.

Great bungalow and pool!

The bungalow worked out great for our Spring Break trip with 2 kids. Pool area is awesome, pool was warm enough to swim in spring which the kids loved! We enjoyed the bikes to ride around the historic neighborhood in the mornings. Close to many great restaurants on Clematis and area breweries. Peter was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay there again!

The cozy bungalow was just as pictured (clean and charming) and perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers!  Great location and the back yard pool was a tropical paradise.  Peter was the perfect host and very prompt with answering any questions throughout our stay.  Definitely would stay again.

Great location, nice neighborhood.

We didn’t care for the overall comfort of the seating areas...the coach was really a futon Not comfortable . Probably better for a short stay.....two weeks was to long! Additionally, we did not care for the Roku television hookup it was difficult to get certain networks. The washer/dryer was handy and a very nice private pool area. Plenty of towels and kitchen paraphernalia.

Great location, great stay!

This was our first trip to Palm Beach, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location of this property was perfect for all of our activities at CityPlace. Easy walking distance through a nice residential area that felt safe all of the time. The Bungalow was perfect for our needs, and is a great location for a short term stay for a couple. It was a little chilly, but we still enjoyed sitting out by the pool one morning. Overall, a great experience!
