„Wonderful light and bright place to stay near RoundTop!!“

„We were a Red Hat Ladies group of 5 women of a “certain age” who came to Schulenberg to see the Painted Churches. The house was the perfect place for us to stay since it is located just a short distance from the Chamber of Commerce where the tour started! Also, the house is located right across from the police department:). All five of us enjoyed the “Victorian” decor and home. „Totally outfitted rental - everything one would need was provided. Clean and comfortable linens. Nice touches like good coffee and welcome water bottles. Central location easy drive to fun spots like Spoetzl brewery in Shiner and Moravia Store near Hallettsville.“

„We stayed at this wonderful home while attending the Round Top Film Festival. It's a beautiful home and the property is peaceful and private. The hot tub was a great place to relax with the cooler weather now. Great coffee bar with lots of amenities. Nice that there was a wine fridge too. Will definitely stay in the future.“

„The Top was great! My family of 3 and 2 pets (a cat and dog) were warmly welcomed by the host. Tons of space for us, and we loved the open space of the home and the outdoor property. The screened-in patio was especially enjoyed by the cat. Everything was clean, and there were extra pet supplies and treats for the pup! Awesome, awesome place for a countryside Christmas! Would’ve stayed longer if we could.“

„We loved the cottage and location. Description was accurate and provided a perfect launch site for days of driving the start of the Hill Country. We would stay again.Issues surrounding the cleaning team and how the cottage was on arrival. Trash in front of the house greeted us along with other issues which I feel can be addressed by the property mgt team. They did try to address some issues the following day - we had already departed for the day and not there to allow entry. “

We had such a nice and relaxing visit! And the home is very close to nearby Round Top locations. We will definitely be back! This was an easy quick trip from Houston for a nice family weekend. “
