„Expectations were poorly set. This is an upmarket, self-contained, ground-floor, separate-entrance apartment in a quality new family home. Early and late, children running and screaming overhead and outside can be heard. While it was no great bother, it reminded me of home; guests should be forewarned.“

„Our stay in this unique art house was good. We loved what the owner is trying to do with the decor. It is unusual and quirky but the beds were comfortable and as we were at the folk festival that was important.The shower was tricky as a lot of water ended up on the floor through the shower curtain and the fact that the shower floor is higher than the surrounding floor! Terrifying for the elders in our group! “

„The apartment was as described but we had issues with checking in as we had to wait for it to be cleaned and then the incorrect lock box code was provided so we had to again wait for the owner, who was very apologetic, to rectify this.In addition, it was extremely difficult to locate the allocated car space, there was only 1 lift working at the building and there was no welcome information provided. Fortunately the views were stunning!.“

„Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication.“

„Pros: Quiet. Double garage with electric door. Cons: Extremely dirty. The carpet was so gross - stained, (especially the stairs), looked greasy and flattened, and LOTS of dirt/particles still on the floor when we checked in. Tried to vacuum myself but the vacuum cleaner doesn't work! Cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom corners, edges were covered in dark mould/ discoloured silicone. „This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. The owner refused to take responsibility for it and refused to refund us, making every excuse under the sun why he could not. The entire property was old, every surface covered in dust, dirt and ...

„Property was clean and presentable. A bit dated in areas and the shower in the ensuite was leaking.Living area doesn’t have enough seating for 14 people unless you want to sit at dining table all evening.But beds were comfortable and clean and there was sufficient bedding and blankets for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Check in process was easy and overall made for a very enjoyable stay “

"Das Zimmer war spartanisch eingerichtet. Die Tür dichtet nicht ab, ao scheint immer das Licht vom Flur ins Zimmer. Leider ist zur Zeit eine Baustelle neben an, die morgens um 06:00 Uhr anfängt zu arbeiten."

Hundehotel, haarige Zimmer, Duschen eingeschränkt

"Es handelt sich offensichtlich um ein beliebtes Hotel bei Hundebesitzern. Die meisten Gäste kommen mit Hunden, die wie selbstverständlich ohne Leine im Hotel laufen dürfen und mit in den Zimmern schlafen. Uns war dies bei der Buchung nicht bewusst. Nachdem wir unser Zimmer bezogen hatten haben wir uns zum Koffer öffnen auf den Boden gesetzt. Und waren sofort komplett voll mit Hundehaaren. Auf unsere Bitte an der Rezeption nach einer Reinigung oder einem alternativen Zimmer wurde mit einem Ministaubsauger einmal gesaugt. Geholfen hat dies nicht viel. Für uns war es damit unmöglich unser Baby auf dem Boden krabbeln zu lassen. Am Abend kam aus der Dusche kaum Wasser, fast nur kalt. Ab und zu kurz warm, wobei es dabei so schlecht gerochen hat, dass wir uns schon sorgen um unsere Gesundheit gemacht haben. Auch eine Stunde später war weiter kein warmes Duschen möglich, womit wir dann aufgegeben haben. Einen Ansprechpartner gibt es am Abend nicht mehr, weshalb wir auch keine Chance hatten etwas an der Situation zu ändern."
