Hotels Waxham

„Food was fairly decent, staff were all excellent. Nice clean room, lovely comfortable bed. Big clean bathroom. However .....we couldn't get any of the radiators to work. When its single digits centigrade outside its time to fire up the central heating !! The room and bathroom was very cold, which put a real downer on our stay.“

„Das Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Die Zimmer sind alt, die Badezimmern nicht im besten Zustand. Das Frühstück kann bestellt werden. Es gibt kein Buffet. Als Vegetariar ist man verloren. Sauberkeit und Zustand der Anlag lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich hoffe die neuen Besitzer bringen das Hotel zurück zur alten Qualität “

„Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area ...

„Lovely and friendly, directly on the beach a perfect get away“

„Not our first stay here. As usual everything brilliant. Can't wait to go back.“

„Fab. Will stay again.“

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before. The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. As a DJ is playing, you will hear the music as a background noise in the room. Parking opportunity is great and room was very clean. All in all it was an enjoyable stay, but not ...

„The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!“

„This is an ideal place to stay with your family to relax and enjoy to sit in the well kept garden surrounding the main buildings. On a nice day one can take a swim in the out door pool.I wish I had booked more than one night “

„Steve the bar manager was attentive and very helpful“

„Very nice room (just need more attention to cleaning the floors) and good burger meal in the pub - thank you!“

„Acceptable accommodation for a short break and good location from which to explore North Norfolk. Banged my head on low hanging ceiling lights a dozen times in two days, fortunately no damage done. There is definitely room for improvement but wouldn’t want to complain too much as I think hosts are trying to make the best of a less than perfect situation.“

„This was our first time staying here and definitely won’t be the last. From beginning to end a wonderful experience. Both hosts professional, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds with super shower and spotless well equipped room. Made to feel extremely welcome 😊“
