„I didn't love the area around this hotel, but the hotel itself was so clean and the staff so friendly. Breakfast was very nice and they even had snacks some afternoons we returned. We liked the Taco place on the corner too.“

„I appreciate the free shuttle from the airport. The hotel is close to the airport, Freedom Hall and University of Louisville. Walkable to restaurants. The staff is kind and the lobby/facility is comforting and clean. The rooms are big and clean. It is quiet, relaxing and I feel safe. “

„Hotel and rooms are very clean, the staff are really friendly, and the area around the hotel is walkable. The hotel is conveniently located next to bars and restaurants (there are some on the same block and across the street). In the room, the bed was comfy and there was plenty of ample lighting and amenities. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.“

„Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. “

„Das Hotel macht auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck. Beim genaueren hinsehen merkt man jedoch das es in manchen Punkten in die Jahre gekommen ist. Steckdosen sind nicht mehr richtig in der Wand verankert, Stecker halten nicht mehr richtig, Tapeten in den Räumen lösen sich ab und und und. Für den Preis pro Nacht sind meiner Meinung nach zu viele Mängel vorhanden. Die Zimmer auf der Innenseite des Baus haben als Zusatz noch die unangenehme Eigenschaft dauerhaft von der sehr lauten AC Unit ...

"After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. Friendly service, at Dinner time a bit hectic for the reasons mentioned before. Three and a half stars ***1/2* "
