„We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful house right on the beach. Our children (6,9,11) loved going outside the back door and playing in the water, the sand, and lounging in the hammock. The water is pretty shallow a good ways out and the waves are gently. There are beach toys and snorkel gear available as well as a boat and life jackets.This private beach access is hard to beat. Die Sauberkeit war extrem gut, die Ausstattung der Küche und generell der Cabana war außerordentlich und hat nichts zu wünschen übrig gelassen. Viele Haken, Wäscheklammern, Geräte, Handtücher und und und. Dazu eine angenehme Privatsphäre inmitten des sympathischen Dorfes. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen :-) klare Empfehlung!“

„Really enjoyed my stay at Areca House. I was there solo for a vacation; however, it would be fine too for a couple. Great location to the beach (just across the street), as well as close to restaurants (within walking distance). It was great to enjoy Garifuna places of interest (wonderful food, etc.). Doc responded quickly to my initial inquiries, and Janette provided a helpful introduction to the place after I arrived. Would recommend Areca House!“

„The house was clean and well-stocked to cook. Beds were comfy and the AC worked when power wasn’t out. House manager Jeanette was so awesome — communicative, friendly, helpful. She also rents golf carts to 18 and our teens loved zipping around Hopkins and having some freedom. The seaweed was pretty bad at our house but plenty of docks a couple houses away to access the ocean.“
