„Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.“

I will premise my concerns by stating the owner noted a correction at the very bottom of the listing ...so be sure to read the ENTIRE listing. The photos shown show a well maintained and manicured property. The property is overgrown with trash laying about. There is no washer/dryer available and the fireplace is not to be used. And most important - the front door does not properly lock.  ...

„Adorable home, private secluded location, very responsive hosts. We loved our one night stay and hope to return for a long weekend soon! We had everything we needed to make a nice dinner and coffee in the morning. The walking path is accessible from the yard and brings you by a beautiful little river, through woods, and by interesting fields. The house is also an easy drive to downtown Warrenton for shopping and restaurants.“

Also we were not advised the firepit was broken. When i reached out to owner he mentioned his handyman would bring a propane tank because we thought it was just out. „The house was super cute and very well appointed. My kids absolutely loved the loft beds and my wife loved the super cozy and comfortable king sized bed. Even though it was a tiny home, the kitchen was stocked like a gourmet kitchen and had everything we needed to cook amazing meals in it. We cooked all but the dinner on the night we arrived at the house. The coffee bar was excellent as well, my wife loved indulging in speciality coffees.
