What I did not realize was the porch with the two twin beds was only screened in. Since this was the case we had a couple folks sleeping on couches. Other than that it was wonderful. “

„Our family stayed here for our son’s wedding at a nearby farm venue. Home was spotless, kitchen well stocked for cooking (although we didn’t do any), and the house is very conveniently located in Shepherdstown. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants in minutes. Easy drive to the wedding venue. As noted in the property description, there are a lot of stairs inside and out, so not the best choice if someone has mobility issues. „Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. And Laura and her family made our stay even better. The house is well appointed - fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful views from back deck. This is a wonderful location to visit so many interesting vineyards, farm stands, nurseries, and some very nice restaurants in Purcellville. We look forward to visiting ...
