„In general, this is such a beautiful refuge from the noise of city/suburban life in Upstate New York. Gazing out the window the first morning, we saw a flock of turkeys passing through. The next day, fox and, later, a small herd of deer. The house itself is lovely. Though it was just my husband and I, this is the perfect place for families. "The Resort and rooms are nice and staff really committed to make the stay pleasant. The new pool was not yet open and they first told us we could only use the spa pool if we book a wellness treatment or pay 60 dollars per person & day which was disappointing looking at the price tag of the hotel and the fact that they do charge a resort fee. After complaining we were finally allowed to use the pool. The problem should be solved now that the new pool is open. There are lots of activities to do and Middleburg town is cute. "
