YAY - we finally got snow! 4 feet! And 60% of the mountain was closed - I am sure the owner must have been notified WELL in advance of the construction. Yet did not let us know or give us a discount. Description included a Nespresso machine so I went out and bought the Nespresso pods. But no machine there, just espresso cups. Description also show Lots of firewood, but there was none. Turns out we were the last renters from this owner. All the decor that adds to the charm was gone, empty walls and hooks where they used to be. It is NOT and easy ski in/ski out. Beginners would definitely have to drive. Plus the trail into chalet was not groomed. Our skiers are expert skiers and had trouble with the trails in and out. If I owned property there and Sugarbush didn't groom the trail for the property owners - I would sell and go elsewhere. So, we were too late in the season. The owner was ok, did not seem concerned that there was no firewood or that most of the mountain was closed. More honesty and a discount for all that was lacking would have been nice. We won't be back to Sugarbush.
