„We very much enjoyed our stay at Portland Sanctuary! It was myself, my husband and my toddler. It was a large space, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially convenient and having basics like oil and spices made it so we could easily prepare a few meals. Beds were quite comfy too. My son loved the chickens in the yard! Only negatives were that the heaters are low to the ground and can get hot to the touch so I had to be careful which ones were on when my toddler was “

„Just what we wanted: a spacious amount of room for 4 people, an unusual location while still convenient to Portland, and a responsive host. It's more "house" than "boat," but it's located on a pretty little stretch of water with a small current. We loved watching the geese family, heron and beaver across the way. „I stayed at Sheena’s place for about 3 months while completing an internship for school. They stay was great! It was exactly as described and had everything that I needed for my time there. Since it is farther outside of town, the internet and service can be a bit tricky, but nothing that couldn’t be handled. She communicated very effectively and helped me with anything that I needed during my stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for long or short term stay in St. Helen’s. “

„This is a perfect place for a single or couple to sleep, shower, and get ready for the day. I think it's a full bed, so if you're super tall it might be an issue. Great for the price; the accommodations are low-end hotel quality and could cost 50% more and still be a good deal. „The location was convenient to the convention center, which was good for our stay. The famous food truck rodeo is a short drive away. The house is an older duplex and has a very "apartment living" kind of vibe. It's at the edge of a quiet neighborhood but on a busy street with the train running on it. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and check-in was straightforward.“

„We took an extended weekend with our kids and my father here. Everything about the house was amazing. Sitting in the sauna after playing in the pool was really nice. The movie theater was really cool; the sound system is built into the chairs so it gives you a immersive experience.The only down side was that we had go home; we would have loved to stay longer!“

The area was a little sketchy- it was by all really run down houses/apartments. However I never didn’t feel safe. The king bed was comfy but the twin beds were not. "Das Portlander Inn wurde im vergangenen Jahr renoviert, und das sieht man. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock war sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand, mit einem großen Fernseher und schnellem WiFi. Äußerst angenehm auch das Bad mit einer großen Dusche (ohne störende Badewanne, die gibt’s aber noch in den Zimmern im 2. Stock) und einem schönen Waschtisch mit einem beeindruckenden LED-beleuchteten Spiegel. Sehr schick! Unbedingt zu erwähnen ist auch das sehr freundliche Personal an der Rezeption und der Airport-Shuttle, der extra und nur für uns unterwegs war. Zum Frühstück gab es einen Gutschein für ein im Hause befindliches Restaurant, damit waren wir sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt also ein Aufenthalt, wie man ihn sich wünscht und eine klare Empfehlung."

"Großes sauberes Zimmer, kein Fön, keine Kaffeemaschine,
Da der Kaffee zum sogenannten Frühstück 1 Std. vor Schluss nicht aufgefüllt wurde, auch die Riegel als Frühstück wurden nicht aufgefüllt.
Es gibt keinen Zimmerservic. Muss bestellt werden.
Müsste nicht unter Hotel geführt werden. Das ist eine Einrichtung für Menschen die dort länger leben.
Macht mein Sohn jedes Jahr 4 Wochen in Florida wo es wesentlich weniger kostet.
