„I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.“

„Charming property, quiet comfortable accommodations despite being attached to a pub. The pub has excellent food and drink. Not in Central London but very close to the overground and bused“

„Sehr kleines Zimmer ohne Kleiderschrank oder Ablagemöglichkeiten, nur Garderobe vorhanden. Duschbad nicht beheizbar. Sehr hellhörig. Schlechter WLAN-Empfang. Während die Gäste beim Frühstück saßen wurde im Frühstücksraum mit Chlor-Wasser der Fußboden geputzt, das geht gar nicht!!“

„Lovely dinner and staff. Breakfast is sent service continental style, so no cooked options which was a shame after the dinner. It's a 14th century pub, so lots of character and in a small village.“

„Great stay !!“

„lovely little find. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated. Fridge and aircon which are invaluable when travelling with work. Room was a little small, the others looked larger so would book one of these next time. Only improvement would be remove the shower curtains and replace with glass, no one likes a shower curtain!!“

„I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.“

„The hotel is in excellent condition and exudes a great flair. But unfortunately two negative points 1. It is on a busy road and therefore it is inevitably noisy. 2. The breakfast is mini and everything else costs extra. Unacceptable for the price.“
