„We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by ...

So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. „The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property “

„We loved this property - had everything we needed to cook for our combined families, was low-mainenance and nice open plan with plenty of space, had lots of books and toys for the kids plus family DVDs, and watching the sunrise across the beautiful view (but also with privacy) and the logburner going was bliss. The only other thing we could have wished for was a spa pool ;) Would love to stay here again!“

Well maintained place with good facilities.Easy stay for a family of 4.Kitchen was decently stocked up with essentials and had all the right utensils for a short stay. Wifi and heatpump was missing which would be kind of good to have. Will chose this place any day we come to visit Ruapehu. Thanks Richard“
