„Sounds like a wonderful place, staff was helpful. BUT the stay was a disaster. Room had a funny smell, fan to vent was running but did not help, but we accepted it. In the middle of the night there was a extremely loud sound in the ceiling, some animal was digging in there, hitting the ceiling help for awhile but it came back, this went on for a very long time. „This property was very unique and a great place to stay, especially after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set earlier in the day. The rooms did smell a little like “Middle Earth” when we arrived, but the fans were running and the owners were obviously trying to deal with the problem which was much appreciated. „Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee.
