Jubilee Park, a 30-hectare multi-sport complex with a playground and BBQ facilities, is a few minutes away in the same suburb. The Wagga Wagga Country Club on the shores of Lake Albert (8 mins) offers an 18-hole championship course, and the Lake Albert recreation precinct (8 mins) has a 5.5 km sealed walking circuit, jetty and picnic areas for an easy afternoon outdoors. The Turvey Park Hotel (7 mins) is a family-friendly local for dinner or a drink. For coffee, Infuso (10 mins) is a Wagga staple. The Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens and Zoo (10 mins) draw families for the miniature train, aviary and playground. Day-to-day shopping is covered at South City Shopping Centre in Glenfield Park (5 mins, Coles + Aldi adjacent) and the Sturt Mall and Wagga Marketplace in the CBD (10 mins) cover the rest.
