Gut: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
The staff was the best group of people I’ve ever met. They were so kind caring and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The food was great. Some people from our group of 13 did the hike to the top of the hill. Not all made it just FYI it’s very steep at the top. The pictures were amazing from the top though. Our group‘s new favorite beer is Piton. The local beer that’s named after the mountains there. Just an FYI, the alcohol served there gave me heartburn so I just stuck with beer. The Pacific Ocean is right at your feet, but due to the current there tends to be a lot of seaweed which they do clean up daily. For the true beach experience walk a short way down the beach to Coconut Bay paradise Beach. There’s a great bar, chairs and hammocks. You can even get a ride in a golf cart if you don’t wanna walk. We also were shuttled to a dock for a sunset cruise.
The shows in the buffets were amazing. We were lucky enough to be there over New Year’s Eve and they did an amazing job and the best fireworks I’ve ever seen. If you do plan to go for the holidays book a year ahead. For reasons out of our control, we were stuck there for a few more days. The resort was able to accommodate our group for one night and they were gracious enough to only charge us half price. We ended up changing resorts to the far north end of the island, which is the Caribbean Sea. We stayed at a chain Resort with a cove. It was huge & beauThe staff was not nearly as polite, caring and helpful.
