„Good location and clean but old fashioned. “

„Staying for one night meant I wasn't looking for 5 star,The Sun is in the heart of the town,ideal for my needs. As expected its an old building with an old feel. Free parking was good,checking in at the bar wasn't a problem but some people might not like it. My room was on the top floor to mitigate noise from a very busy and noisy bar ,again it didn't bother me but some would be pretty upset I imagine. Food was good especially the breakfast,usually I get buffet style but this was fresh and ...

„The staff were all wonderful. So friendly and helpful. The lady who was on the night time reception was just amazing! Because of the staff, I would book again. Yes, the hotel badly needs refurbished, but renovations were being done. I look forward to seeing the place when they are completed. Breakfast was good. “

„I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and ...

„A beautiful hotel . Lovely staff nothing too much trouble very clean lovely bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities.. they even put a tv out In the courtyard so guests could watch the FA cop final !! Will definitely be back !“

„Sehr Familienfreundlich und war gar nicht laut, obwohl es in einer Pub ist. Das Zimmer war etwas klein mit Babybett. Ich würde daher ein größeres Zimmer empfehlen. Die Teppe war auch etwas nervig mit Kinderwagen.“

„Für 1-2 Nächte völlig ausreichend und gemütlich. Leider nur kein richtiges Fenster in unserm Zimmer zum raus schauen.“

„Absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were lovely, clean and had Everything you needed incuding tea, coffee, biscuits. Towels were provided and also hand wash and moisturiser. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to order as was the evening meals that we had and again they were delicious. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. This is our fifth time we have visited and it is always so good. Cant wait to go again.“
