Avoid. I couldn't enter the apartment for 2 hours. No one showed up to give me keys.
I notified hostnfly that I would not have cell service in country, only internet. They responded acknowledging this. They asked when i'd be arriving so their "local representative" could meet me and give me the keys. They gave me the combination to enter the building and told me to meet the representative on the 5th floor. I enter the building and am met with a second locked door, which required a key. I emailed hostnfly, they told me to call the representative. I reminded them I had no cell service. They said "try calling on WhatsApp" which I do not have and can't set up. I email back and forth painfully slowly for the next 40 minutes getting zero help. Eventually a tenant let me in. I then climbed up the 5 flights of stairs into an attic, where I walk down a hallway and find a locked door and no doorknob. I knock. No answer. This was in fact the correct door, and no one was there to meet me.
I went back outside so I'm not sitting in an attic where the people who live there store their stuff, and I continue to email and wait.
Finally I receive an email saying "since you were not here our cleaner had to leave the keys in a lock box in front of the building. I was sent a very nondescriptive video which clearly wasn't filmed that day. Not enough characters to say how bad the apt was.couldn't even stand up straight in the shower. Floor is so off level I almost fell out of bed. No soap.
