I made a reservation thru Expedia for an 'accessable' room with a shower vs a tub. I called hotel to dbl chk and was assured of my request..upon arrival, there was no hot water in my room for more than 2 days/ plus no shower...Staff, including Day Mgr continued to tell me it was fixed, finally on my last nite, I returned to the hotel only to find no hot water. at this time, I was offered another room....previously NO ONE including the day shift mgr had the minimal curtesy to offer me another room. I am a veteran and a senior citizen.. I fully intend to contact Hiltons area mgr and request full reimbursement for this inconvenience...I actually had to go back to home home daily to shower -to shower....in 3 days. I made sure that the day mgr and hotel front desk personnel knew what I was doing. I would also think, that Expedia should get involved and provide some reimbursement. I've stayed in multiple Hilton hotels in a lot of foreign countries and never had these issues.....I started in room 212 and then I had to move myself, into room 2005. Again, a small curtesy - but no offer of assistance....they could clearly see my difficulties with my cane. Appreciate your response, thank you.
