„The bed was very uncomfortable. It had a spring that had broken and made it inpossible to get a good nights sleep. Really cheap pillows the kind filled with foam chips. No hot water from the taps in the sink the only way to get hot water was by having a shower. Did not get the security codes to enter, i had to phone to get them. The only good thing i can say is that it was clean.“

„The hotel is close to the hovercraft ferry. I had to call someone to check in, since the reception is not staffed all the time. I was traveling by bicycle and they have a shed for safe storage. The breakfast is chosen from a menu with a few options. Restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. The shower had very low waterflow. “

The guy on tne intercom said he had been living there for 11 weeks So contacted the feeder company and they were not available Was on foot so tried desperately to get a taxi to no avail. „Pleasant rooms / toilet and bath most satisfactory . A big, comfortable kitchen for cooking or just having a snack. Everything was very clean. Also a small garden with some chairs (perhaps a couple more would be good.) Also offered an upgrade so that we (3 sisters) did not need to use the couch. “

„Hotel ist erst nach einer einstündigen Busfahrt erreicht. Es gibt annehmbares Frühstück. Gemeinschaftsdusche und -bad. Schlaf wollte sich angesichts des Straßenlaerms nicht einstellen. Personal ist weder freundlich noch hilfsbereit. Der Ort ist eine kulturelle wie auch Dienstleistungswueste. Abendbrot - zu Fuß Fehlanzeige. Nur per Taxi erreichbar, rechtzeitig vorbestellt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis deshalb ausbaufaehig. Keine Empfehlung.“

„We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!“
