„A charming small hotel on the French / Spanish border. The couple who run the hotel are as accommodating as can be, and really a very nice experience. We were hiking in the Selva di Irati park, and this was one of the closest hotels. We were very happy with our choice. Would highly recommend!“

„Eine Nacht auf dem Weg nach Santiago. Freundlicher Empfang.“

„When we arrived after a day's walk on the camino, the bartender was less than friendly, almost surly and advised us to wait for check-in. He was much friendlier the next day but first impressions count. The check-in older woman could have been his mother based on her equally unfriendly lack of welcome, however she too improved over time. The restaurant food was good although the pork knuckle was mostly knuckle but the little pork was very tasty.“

„The room was very clean & bright. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel was in the centre of this lovely town (Espelette) & next to the shops. I understand the breakfasts are well liked but I didn’t eat breakfast there. The was a helpful book re trails including the one to the top of the hill right opposite my bedroom window. I enjoyed the 11+ miles & 3 hills hike. The All Trails App nicely led the way. On the morning I left (early)!to hike up La Rhune (the highest hill in the ...

„Great and not. This is really up hill on an árbol, without power, dry toilet facility with an exceptional welcoming from Hotess Alicia, she’ll cook for you if requested totally recommend. It was hard to go up hill with a carryon but my meal “Cordero” with integral rice it was amazing, spending the night there was a lifetime experience. Then wake up to a relax breakfast she prepared for us! THANK YOU ALICIA from your Cuban guests “

„A HIDDEN GEM. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, NESTLING IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY FOOTHILLS. QUIET. NATURE. ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOLS I KNOW. FABULOUS PERSONNEL, FAMILY RUN, DELICIOUS BREAKFAST, CLASSY RESTAURANT OFFER. TERRIFIC VALUE-FOR-MONEY“

„Excelente sitio.
