„The house was very roomy and the property was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our stay here was very relaxing. My grandson (8 yrs old) loved seeing all the fish, turtles and tadpoles in the river. We also saw deer and wild turkeys. There is also a nice nature trail on the property. We had several questions for the host and he answered all of them promptly. Communication was excellent!“

„We have been wanting to stay at this property for a long time even before we moved to the Hill Country. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The view is amazing. You immediately feel at home. They have thought of everything you need and the beds and couch are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. We especially loved the two separate porches one in the front and one in the back both have beautiful views although in the back you see a lot more wildlife. The family is wonderful as far as ...

„We had a great stay at this place. We floated the Frio one day and the next day enjoyed a hangout in Leakey we know. Afterwards we spent the evening at the Utopia Lake and floated on it and did the rope swing as well. The owner was always quick to respond to us and even had someone bring us a propane bottle to use due to our group forgetting ours. All in all it was a great trip!“

„We have stayed at this property several times. It’s a great location for a nice quiet getaway. Fantastic birding and long walks. Very easy to get to Garner State Park to hang out in the river. The cabin is clean and spacious and well equipped. The only heads up I would give is that the stairs to the two beds on top are steep, so be prepared for that. I love staying here and really appreciate that my dog is welcome too!!“
