„This cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all, but in comfy conditions. We enjoyed breakfast and evenings looking at the lake and seeing turtles, birds, cranes, a bald eagle, and fish! The cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay. You are only a few mies from town, but it seems like you are further than that. Definitely pick up groceries in town because you will not want to leave to shop. I wish we had time to eat / shop at the Rustic Duck beside it, but time just not permit ...

Loved having the gates on the deck to hold in the pets and baby. Only downfall was the road noise. We didn’t realize how close it was to the road. We will definitely stay here again. “

„Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. Later enjoy sitting in the sunshine and watching the ducks and sparrows on the lake, also heard some cows mooing. Just enjoy the fresh country air! Rustic Duck restaurant was very accommodating too. “

„First, let me say if you need to contact the host for any reason, it will be impossible. Even VRBO wasn’t able to get a response from them.Second, the house was gross. 2 out of 4 beds had sheets that had hair, crumbs and stains on them. The kitchen cabinets had sticky stains on them, crumbs inside the cabinets. The kitchen trash can is nasty. The microwave handle is broken, as is one leg of the living room couch, one of the beds head board was broken, the kitchen barstools are unusable, so ...

„This cabin has enough room for the whole family, a great room to socialize and even a washer and dryer. It's very clean and super cute. The owner has a really cool store and we had a lot of fun shopping for games and snacks and looking at all the interesting stuff they had there! We had family rent a cabin near us, there are plenty of cabins for a family reunion or friends get together and a middle space for cooking s'mores or sitting around the fire.
