No luck catching any fish from the dock but I suspect my fishing skills need a bit of polishing. There are a couple of old crab traps which did catch some crabs but l released them or they escaped on their own. We did not take advantage of the kayaks but they were there for your enjoyment. „We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!“

„The house was a perfect size for the 3 of us. My grandson enjoyed crabbing and fishing off the dock. We rented bikes nearby and went for a nice bike ride around Blackwater Refuge. „Rob and Clarissa's property is in the perfect location on Brooks Creek. The views are spectacular! We enjoyed listening to the birds or watching the activity on the water while we sipped our morning coffee. The three bedrooms and loft space provided more than enough room for 4 adults and two 17 year old boys. Rob is very responsive to any needs his guests may have. „We had wonderful time at the house. Location was perfect and the pool was great hit with everyone. We rented a speedboat for 2 days which was delivered at the dock.There was plenty of space for 20 people. Plan on renting this home again. “

"Das Hotel kann man für eine Nacht empfehlen aber nicht für länger. Alles sehr einfach, keine Reinigung, sehr hellhörig, die Klimaanlage von drüber tropft draußen auf das Fensterbrett und nervt. Frühstück sehr einfach auch wenn dafür viel angeboten wird aber nichts gemütliches. Pappgeschirr und Plastik Besteck. Der angebotene Pool war bei 40 grad im Schatten leider nicht geöffnet Das Zimmer war am Anreisetag sehr klamm und feucht, der Fußboden nass. Nach 2 Tagen hatten wir dann die Klimaanlage endlich richtig eingestellt. Dadurch war aber auch das Bett sehr klamm, Papier was im Zimmer lag war nass Insgesamt würden wir in dieses Hotel nicht wieder gehen und auch nicht empfehlen Wir waren 5 Nächte dort und bekamen nur 1 Satz Handtücher "
