„We stayed 10 days in a 3-bed room on the top floor. Nice for us 2 - for 3 it would be cramped. Views from windows on 2 sides of the harbour and Bressay. Wallpaper starting to peel. Beds hard. Breakfast not great. Good selection of cooked items, but no cold meat, fish, cheese or morning rolls. Set out badly, concentrated in one corner through which serving staff also pass. „We were absolutely delighted with the cleanliness and modern decor of the apartment, and it’s location in central Lerwick was perfect. We could park for free on the street outside the apartment and the shops and restaurants were a five-minute walk. „There is only one word for this - WOW!!!!! I have never in all my years as a self-catering traveller seen so much care being taken to ensure that all one's needs are met. „We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. „The week we spent at Voortrekkers Lodge, Levenwick, was an absolutely marvellous experience. The spectacular view from the lodge, the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the cosy, clean accomodation all contributed to a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. „Beautiful, clean fully equipped accommodation. Hosts have thought of everything, and we were able to arrive early/ stay later due to the ferry times - which was so kind of them. We visited many sights, and wandered on the cliffs and saw puffins and sea otters, as well as other wildlife. Really would recommend staying here if you love beautiful views, peace and quiet.
