„We had an amazing stay here. The staff was exceptional and went far to help us out with everything. The room was large and clean and had an amazing view of the ocean. Hotel arranged a turtle snorkeling with a local guide that was a really good experience. The breakfast was good and we also had lunch at the hotel two days. We even got a christmas gift from the hotel staff on christmas day. One of the best and nicest places we have stayed in Sri Lanka, much thanks to the lovely staff and the ...

„This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc.. Overall if you like privacy and seclusion right on the beach, this ...

„Nice place but not worth the money. The 3 bedroom suite is below the rooftop to which the other guests have access, so they walk through your outdoor area to get up there. You do not get the whole villa, there are two bedrooms that are rented out as well as the suite. The staff are however very friendly and the breakfast was great, and location also very good, right on the beach. The villa needs a fresh coat of paint but is very beautiful, feels Moroccan! If the price was lower I would recommend ...

„You will be asked to pay again onsite! Owner claims this site doesn’t pay her. Our choice was find a new place to stay or pay cash. Overall the stay was acceptable. It wasn’t the cleanest, we had a couple cockroaches as well. It was nice that the owner always had bottled water available for sale. The air conditioning in the bedrooms works great. There are a few amenities listed that are not available: shampoo/soap, traditional washing machine and the only bedding provided is a sheet and ...

Udukawa: Top-Hotelbewertungen

Smeralda Beach Hotel

8/10 Gut

Coast 67 Boutique Hotel

10/10 Hervorragend

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, which we really appreciated. A huge shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Highlights: Location: Direct beach access is a dream! Breakfast: Instead of a buffet, they offer a delicious à la carte breakfast (included). I highly recommend trying the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast – it was absolutely superb. One downside: While the general staff was fantastic, we found the management/owners to be a bit rude and unfriendly. This was quite a contrast to the otherwise warm and welcoming service we received from everyone else. Conclusion: If you value cleanliness, amazing food, and being right on the beach, this is a great choice—just be prepared for a slightly cold reception from the management."
