The space
Welcome to Villa Haja & welcome to paradise! Our villa is a private villa with 2 bdrms + 2.5 bath + private pool + private garden, kitchen and sitting room. This house is perfect for families, friends or couples who want to relax, unwind and be pampered and still be able to easily pop into town, take a yoga class or explore the local culture.

This beautiful and relaxing villa is located in the most sought after neighborhood of Ubud, tucked away from the craziness of town yet incredibly convenient - just a 5 minute walk to the road where you can find everything you need.


~Our Villa~

- Two fully enclosed separate bedrooms (with AC & Ceiling Fan), each with a comfy queen size bed, a desk, wardrobe, windows and sliding glass doors. Each bedroom comes with a safety deposit box and both bedrooms overlook the beautiful pool and connect through the living area/kitchen.

- Each Bedroom has its own private bathroom both with an open (outdoor) private shower and one with a bathtub.

- The living space, kitchen and dinning area overlook the pool. There is also a private half bathroom located right outside the bedrooms and near the pool.

- We have the fastest possible WiFi so you will be able to work, browse, etc with no problems, the vast majority of the time (after all, its Bali).

- The kitchen has the main appliances, there's a fridge + freezer, gas burner, pots/pans, plates, silverware and a water filtered cooler.

- The pool is on a UV filter which means we only use 10% of the chlorine of a standard pool (it's a lot healthier for you). We also offer a floating breakfast tray for a small fee that will be paid to our staff so that they can arrange it for you.

You're in Ubud - the cultural heart of Bali, known for its vibrant energy, spiritual vibe, delicious organic vegetarian food, and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're here to explore, unwind, or recharge, this is the perfect place to do it.

Our villa is located in Penestanan, one of the most loved areas in Ubud. It's a safe, peaceful neighborhood with a great mix of locals and expats, and you're just a short 5-minute walk from some amazing spots:

- Alchemy - a raw juice and salad bar that also offers holistic detox treatments and a wellness clinic.

- Sari Organik - a beautiful place for fresh organic food straight from the farm.

- Eva Spa - treat yourself to massages and body treatments (with some treatments as low as $15 an hour)!

- Santai Tours - for scooter rentals, taxi's and guided tours around Bali.

- Ratna's Laundry - easy and reliable laundry service nearby.

- Wayan's Coconut Juice - get fresh young coconut water delivered daily. They also offer every kind of juice you can imagine.

- A variety of cafe's and restaurants including Dream Cafe, Saraswati Indian Restaurant, a cozy Japanese spot with a weekly farmer's market, and Kue Bakery for tasty chocolates and gluten-free goodies. Plus, plenty of other local Indonesian food options!

Most places offer delivery, too. You're just a 10 minute walk to Intuitive Flow Yoga Studio and the popular Yellow Flower Cafe. It's about a 15 minutes stroll to the center of Ubud, where you'll find shops, markets, cafes, and everything else you could need.

To reach the villa, you'll walk (or ride a scooter) about 300 meters down a peaceful footpath from the main road. There are no cars allowed here, so you'll enjoy quiet surroundings and lovely views of rice fields along the way. It's the perfect escape to relax, unwind, and connect with the tranquil energy of Ubud.

You're just 5 minutes (by scooter) from a large supermarket and 5-10 minutes by scooter from the famous Monkey Forest and all the main spots in central Ubud. The airport and Bali's major beach areas - Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, and Nusa Dua - are around 1 to 1.5 hours away.

Staying in a jungle villa in Ubud offers a unique and serene escape, ideal for those seeking a deep connection with nature and local culture. However, it also involves dealing with wildlife, seasonal weather, and potential disruptions from tourism. Understanding these factors can help you prepare for a balanced experience that maximizes the pros and mitigates the cons. While Bali is home to beautiful atmospheres and creatures, it also hosts less welcomed guests. These creatures such as mosquitos and ants can be particularly bothersome! Packing away prevents ants and other critters from sneaking into your space and ensuring good insect repellent and utilizing our mosquito nets are essential to safety and comfort.

During peak tourist season, roads leading to and from Ubud can become congested, making travel time longer and potentially destracting from the sense of seclusion. The rainy season (November to March) can bring heavy downpours, which may limit outdoor activities and cause minor flooding or muddy paths. Equally the dry season (April - October) can be hot and humid, which may be uncomfortable for some guest not accustomed to such weather. Our entire villa is equipped with AC and ceiling fans to help you manage these particularly harsh conditions.
