Bead Cottage was originally constructed in 1938, and lovingly preserved. This enchanting retreat is just a short stroll away from the beach. Our large heated private pool, Screened porch and sits conveniently on the island's designated bike path, inviting you to embark on relaxing two-wheeled adventures.

Inside Bead Cottage, you'll appreciate the comfort and coziness that this wonderful cottage offers. The first bedroom area offers
1 twin bed, but this is not a private room. This sleeping area is immediately upon entering the cottage. Please see photos.* Second bedroom has two twin beds.* Third bedroom has a queen size bed.* Bead Cottage has a full kitchen equipped with everything you need so that you have the option of preparing meals as if you were at home (on days when you want to kick back and stay put instead of looking for a restaurant). The breakfast area and living room have ample space to visit, eat and enjoy your Tybee tyme! The bathroom provides a standard tub and shower.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SLEEPING AREA WITH 1 TWIN BED IS NOT A PRIVATE ROOM; NO DOOR BETWEEN THIS ROOM AND LIVING ROOM AND THIS AREA IS LOCATED IMMEDIATELY UPON ENTERING FRONT DOOR OF COTTAGE. BEDROOM WITH 2 TWIN BEDS - 1 WALL IN THIS BEDROOM DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY TO THE CEILING; THE WALL IS OPEN ABOUT 10 INCHES AT THE TOP AND LIVING ROOM IS ON OTHER SIDE OF THIS WALL. QUEEN BEDROOM - KITCHEN WINDOWS OVERLOOK THE QUEEN BEDROOM.

One truly standard Tybee offering is the large screened porch! Seems everyone who comes to Tybee migrates to the screened porch to eat, relax, nap, read, enjoy Mermaid Morning Bliss coffee, cocktails in the evening, 's just the perfect space for any beach cottage!

The second favorite thing has to be Bead Cottage's private 12' pool! Yes, you have your own private pool at Bead Cottage!
The pool is, of course, a favorite feature providing an alternative to the beach; a place for adults to relax and kids to play and Bead Cottage's pool can be heated upon request October 1 - March 31.

Third on "favorite Tybee outdoor shower! Perfect for rinsing off the sand and salt of the beach, the shower is equipped with both hot and cold water. Use it for beach clean up or as an alternative to showering indoors (or both!) Outdoor showers and screened porches are "must-haves" for making the most of your Tybee tyme!
