„With big plans to participate in Birkie weekend We were happy to find this place last minute after our original reservation fell through because of septic issues. We lucked out and found a comfortable, welcoming and beautiful place. Mary responded immediately and helped us when we ran into a couple issues. We highly recommend this place.“

„Our family celebrated Christmas this year at this beautiful cabin. It is spacious, with lots of room for people to do different activities (games, crafts, read, cook). The kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing we could not find is a corkscrew. The table was large enough so that the entire family could eat together at each meal. There are four bedrooms and a loft. My husband and I slept in the loft. Since the loft overlooks the main common area, we used the (provided) fan for "white noise" ...

„We were fortunate enough to have a lovely October weekend and enjoyed our stay with yard games and relaxing by the water. The property was well kept and the location was great. With the warm fall there were a lot of Asian beetles that got in at the entry points and we suggested to the owns to add screen doors to help deter so many getting in in the future. We also enjoyed visiting the brewery and other local bars downtown. “

The only issue we came across was the slightly confusing access road...perhaps additional signage would help clarify direction toward the property a bit better. Otherwise, no complaints! „The Rustic Home by the Lake is just what we were looking for this summer. The cabin was just as described and had everything you could need to make your stay perfect. Jason was super easy to work with and answered our questions in a very timely matter. We rented his pontoon boat for the week. It was perfect for fishing, going for rides around the lake, etc. The lake itself is so peaceful- great for kayaking and wildlife watching. Would highly recommend!“
