„Large cabin, very clean and well stocked. Secluded location and privacy was just what we were looking for. Loved the screened in porch, fire pit, decor, and comfort of the property. We requested the kayaks and some of us enjoyed a quiet ride down the creek. Bathtub faucet dripped persistently and the cabin loft area was stuffy. We thought the listing stated there was air conditioning- at least on the VRBO listing it was included. There was some kind of older air conditioning unit upstairs that ...

„All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult.“

„Beautiful lakefront property and a great place to stay. The hosts are just the best. Super friendly and so accommodating . It felt like we were staying at a lake house with family. The lake water was comfortable and vibe is very chill. It exceeded our expectations. If you want to rent a boat you can rent from Moosejaw Resort. The owners there are super friendly as well. Just reserve well in advance to get the dates/ boat type you want.“

„Overall, we had a really great time at Haven by the Falls. The icemaker was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading the vintage fishing books in the living room. The location right in the county park was super fun. For the price, I wish they would have disclosed that there was no air-conditioning. It was a very hot weekend in July. The beds and bedding were also pretty uncomfortable. Again, for the price I would’ve expected something a little better. “

„This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. “

„We had other family, 10 total, staying at another property on Fence Lake, and we could not have picked a better place for me and my wife to stay than The Fence Lake Retreat. It was very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. I’m sure the tv was nice, but we never even turned it on…too busy enjoying the lake and all of the surroundings. It was great to be able to be picked up at our dock by boat from the other family members who were also staying in the lake. I would advise that if you ...

„We had a great stay at this property! (4 adults and 2 children) The house was clean and cozy. Everything was in great shape and felt even bigger than the pictures. The walk down to the dock is magical, and we loved taking the canoe around the lake. We had deer in the yard every day, and the location is conveniently located close (but not too close) to everything.Would definitely stay here again!“
