About this space
Come and enjoy our stand alone Casita with beautiful Mountain views on the NE side of town. Our Casita was recently renovated and brings a feeling of comfort and serenity in your surroundings. While we live on the premises, the Casita is private for guests, and is separated from the main house by our garage. There are convenient areas for cycling, horse back riding, golfing and hiking. Enjoy magnificent sunrise and sunset on the back patio. We're on one of the main drags for cyclists.
The space
Our Casita is in a very quiet neighborhood with great views of the mountains from the patio and the living room.
Our Casita comes with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a living room with sleeper sofa, and a complete kitchenette, including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and coffee maker. There is the ability to make a meal anytime of the day: breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
There is a TV in the living room and free wifi available.
We are within close proximity of a variety of outdoor activities, including golf at the 49ers Country Club or Arizona National to hiking at Saguaro National Monument or Sabino Canyon. There is also close access to Mt. Lemon for a great day trip. During the warmer months we have a pool to enjoy. The pool is shared with our family which entails 3 boys friendly, respectable boys: 2, 9, and 10 years old. When requested, we can make arrangements for our guests to have an hour or two of the pool in a day designated solely for them in which we will make sure no one from our family uses the pool, otherwise the pool may be used at any time for our guests or our family.
On our property, we also have a Basketball court which is available to our guests to use with a basketball available in the Casita for use. Of note, our family may also use the court on occasion as well.
We are located within about 5 miles from a Walgreens, CVS, Safeway and several local restaurants. There are gas stations conveniently located nearby.
Guest access
May through mid-September, the pool in the back yard is available. Guests have full access to the pool and please note, our children may use pollen occasion as well, as we do live on the property. We have pool toys we share with families with kids and towels are provided for guests to use. On occasions where guests might specifically want some time where they are know they have private time in the pool, we can arrange for an hour or two a day solely for the guests.
There are patio tables and chairs accessible in the back yard as well year round.
Additionally, we have a 1/2 basketball court available for the guests to use as well with a basketball provided in the Casita. We do use the court as well on occasion.
Other things to note
Guests should be fully aware - we live on the premises. Our property is overall, rather quiet. Our family is respectful of our guests as we wish for our guests to have the best experience possible. We enjoy interacting with our guests, to whatever point is comfortable for them, but most importantly we want to have good lines of communication and answer any questions or concerns they might have prior to or during their stay.
