Die Hauptterrasse vom Manyatta Camp ist dagegen eher normal. Nicht gut war das Essen (wenig Auswahl für die Größe der Lodge und lieblos angerichtet), ebenso die Flexibilität der Mitarbeiter. Wir konnten über Expedia nur bed&breakfast buchen, wollten vor Ort dann das Abendessen dazu buchen, was nicht ging (bzw nur für 64,-€ ...

„I would highly recommend staying at Kipalo Hills: Breath taking views, faultless service, wonderful food, lovely pool. We had brilliant game drives with Simon and Joshua in Tsavo East and a night game drive in the conservancy where we saw a leopard! The only fault was there was no WiFi. For the whole 3 days - we asked everyday but head office had not paid the bill!! This caused my husband to worry as he hadn’t heard from me and it could have easily been rectified. „Max. of two nights recommended. Very basic rooms, you could hear the neighbour's next to you, above and below you talking and at night even snoring. However, the lodge is beautifully situated with a nice view onto the plains. The water hole is a highlight. Food is very basic for Kenyan circumstances.“

„Abends wird ein Leopard mit Fleisch angefüttert. Einerseits ist es faszinierend, einen Leoparden so nah beim Fressen beobachten zu können. Aber eigentlich finde ich es nicht gut, ein Tier so anzufüttern, dass es eigentlich nicht mehr jagen muss. Vielleicht sollte man doch solche Beobachtungen dem Zufall und Glück überlassen.“

„We didn't stay there for longer because the best rooms they have where overbooked. So the manager decided to give us another room which is not only less comfortable. He was Overwhelmed with this situation. The rooms where dirty and far away from the actual camp. We luckily got a place at Kili springs which is a very nice place next to it. The also do the Safari Service for the Eco camp. “

„The area in Vio is challenging. The staff was polite and professional. The booking did not show up and the rate paid for was not what expected. From the site it appeared to be a nice place and probably it was 20 years ago. The bug netting in room was not in good shape. AC was a fan and had to share bathroom.
