„I thought the hotel was very well maintained for how old it is. It was also decorated cute with a nod to the 1800's but without going over-board or being fussy. We were pretty comfortable except that we were on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators. Being older and not in the best shape, it was a little challenging for us, especially when we hauled our 50 lb suitcase up the first night. „Roomy, clean. Conditions seem to vary some from room to room (viz. TV size, carpeting vs. hard floor). We were by the laundry, so staff & equipment got kind of noisy at times. Locking mechanism on window was broken. Nauvoo is a very seasonal attraction, so lodging & dining venues there probably have a hard time making a go of it.“

„We just wanted a bed for the night but got a lot more. The Motel is so much nicer than pictured on the internet. The Nauvoo Mormon History Sites are nearby and the trip was a great experience.“
