„Sitting on the deck we could hear the sounds of rustling wind thru trees, the flowing New River below, and birdsong. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. Otherwise, Utter silence.The cabin was tidy, with all necessary items for our stay, the owner very helpful, a great place for a get away. The solitude was cathartic! Will visit again.“

„This was my second stay at the treehouse cabin and I will most definitely be back again. Everything about it is beautiful and cozy, and there’s just something magical about being there on the mountain. The surrounding mountain property is gorgeous and so much fun to explore. And the nearby town and restaurants were a big plus. „The cabin was well-appointed and had great amenities. You can tell the owner cares about the property, and she was a joy to communicate with and gave us lots of great advice. „More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay.“

„This little place was perfect for my husband and myself for a couple days when we needed to be in the area. We worked during the day but loved coming back to the house in the evenings and sitting on the porch listening to the birds, watching the shadow rise over the mountain as the sun went down and watching the fireflies come out. „This house was amazing! It was the best cabin I have ever stayed in. The location was secluded on the river. You really never have to leave the house with all of the amenities provided. Fireplace, game room, hot tub, hammock. And the adoreable town of West Jefferson is only around 18 minutes away. We went to Grayson Hoghlands 30 minutes away for a hike and saw the wild ponies. Wonderful stay“
