„Charming decor, fresh, clean and comfortable. Nice kitchenette so we were able to cook our breakfasts and grill outside after our days out and about if we wanted on one of the convenient gas grills a very short walk from our front door. Nice fire pit and chairs for relaxing with a cocktail and maybe meet someone new if someone is around. Adjacent to a nice quiet road for a morning or evening walk if you like to do that. Short drive to the welcome center for Acadia too!“

„Better than expected. Quaint little cabin. Cleanliness is a 10. Owner has gone above and beyond to think of every little detail. Decor is spot on. Private, quiet, and homey. Close to restaurant and within reasonable walking distance to the lighthouse! Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and will help you if you aren’t sure exactly where you want to go/so. We took some of his advice and it was worth it. Definitely would consider staying here again! “

„Amazing spot! Simple, quiet, with a sprinkle of local lobster boats humming by. Perfect weather highlighted the sky, the water and the sunsets. I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. “

„Landmark 1910 Shingle-style mansion centrally located next to downtown Bar Harbor, just steps from the sand bar to Bar Island. House was as advertised; maintenance and operating features fine; booking and check-in process smooth. A perfect venue for an extended family reunion. „The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts:
- The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do.
- The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site.
- In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden ...

„Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!“

„We (3 adults and a Dalmatian) rented the Cozy Cabin for 10 days. It was great. There was enough space for our stuff and for us to relax and sleep comfortably. The bed sleeps 2 and there’s an air mattress for the third person. The cabin itself is nice, and the view is beautiful too. My husband really enjoyed how close it is to water and it gave him and Bailey (dog) some nice walks. This isn’t a place for partying but it’s awesome for relaxing. "Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled.
We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids.
The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits.
Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset.
Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."
