Cottage in Torrington finden – gemütliches Ferienhaus auf dem Land mieten

„6 adults who had a lovely stay. The local pub did a great take away roast for 10The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the evenings with the fire lit. Fresh eggs from the chickens and jars of honey were a bonus“

„Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary. Location fantastic with a ten minute walk to Instow and the beach. Apartment very well equipped. Lovely little touches with decorations ( almost too many not leaving much work top space in the kitchen). Up to date photos would be good on cottages.comMay be a bit cosy with 4 adults (we were 3 adults and dog )Slightly nit picking, would have helped to have settee across the lounge facing TV. Got a bit of neck ache. ( Especially if 3 ...

„The cottage was easy to locate following instructions. The cottage was very clean and tidy. We had 1 minor problem which was dealt with very quickly. We met the owner who was very nice and chatty The price we paid was very reasonable and worth every penny. Will definitely book again“

„The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). I called the number given and was asked for a lot of information including my ...

„Very Nice Cottage, Direct at the Waterfront with a nice view. The cottage has everything that you Need for daily life.“

„Enough space for 6 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The house was arranged with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the living quarters upstairs. The boys enjoyed the football table and PS4, and the dog enjoyed the small private garden and the enclosed field across the road. The property was clean and well looked after, and whilst very close to the House, we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours.“

„Very happy with the accommodation. Pet friendlyLoved the nautical look bedroom. Didn’t know how to work the heater in the lounge area … wasn’t sure if it was on a timer. Communication with host 5 star “

„Lovely location and accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for 3 of us.“

„A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage.“

„What a beautiful cottage! We had a wonderful week. We had a small issue, which Mark bent over backwards to help sort out. It felt like home and we loved it. A great base for exploring the north coast, the community shop was a godsend. Highly recommended.“

„All round very good experience“

„I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. We knew it was remote but anyone not wanting to walk may find it a bit remote. Had a fantastic stay with some great ...

„Absolutely charming place, lovely family run business, super welcoming, friendly, greeted by dogs, ducks and cows. Stunning peaceful location, just what I needed.“

„A lovely peaceful location, cottage well equipped and clean. Would recommend, not many amenities to hand without a drive. Lovely welcome pack included“

„It`s very basic and small, but clean and tidy - for a week ok. Old fashioned and with damp musty smell (there was an air dehumidifier) - we had to wash all our clothes after this week. Compare to our other cottages in this holiday the performance was lousy and the price we`d paid much too high.“

„A very nice place to stay! Wonderful friendly and helpful landlady and landlords. Great surroundings, remote and close to the sea. Very clean cottage. Cream tea as a welcome, thank you again. And thank you as well that we could arrive at any time as our ferry was suspended. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a wonderful quiet place in a remote valley with great walks as well for the dogs as for people of all ages. Would like to come again.“

„This is a beautiful 5 star property in a very quiet rural location. We were two coiples and had so much space to chill and two lovely bedrooms both with en suite was just brilliant. Plenty of storage, fully stocked and large kitchen and untility/ boot room if you go walking!! It is so beautifully decorated throughout we loved all the different lamps. The host David was so kind to give us a lift and back to the pub in the village. It is quite a hilly walk so car essential!! This house is of the ...
