Villa Burgess - A Murcia Holiday Rentals Property

A lovely 3-bedroom villa within the Mar Menor Golf Resort, with private heated saltwater pool situated in a quiet area, with a sunny southwest garden. A great place to stay if you want to play golf, have an activity break, visit the many beaches or just chill out with friends and family.



Upstairs there are three bedrooms. Bed 1 has super king bed and en suite bathroom; Bed 2 has super king bed and bed 3 has 2 single beds. All have TVs and air con. There is also a second bathroom. The landing leads out to a solarium area with seating. *These 2 bathrooms have been recently upgraded*



Downstairs you will find a third bathroom with shower. The lounge seats 6 plus 4 at dining table. There is a highchair, large TV, air con, music system, DVD and printer. The kitchen is fully equipped including large fridge freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, coffee machine, electric juicer and toasted sandwich maker. The conservatory has a large table seating six and a two-seater sofa. It has glass patio doors that slide back leading to the outside garden.



Outside is a large garden and patio area with four sun beds and a further table and chairs to seat 6 and BBQ. A lovely safe saltwater pool with wide graduated steps. Two awnings can be wound out to create extra shade.



On the resort there are restaurants attached to the 5* Caleia hotel including the Club House where you can get breakfast and lunch. There is a well-stocked Spar supermarket on site and plenty of supermarkets to choose from in nearby Los Alcazares including Lidl and Aldi. On the Boulevard at the Torre Pacheco entrance, you will find restaurants and bars to suit everyone. Route 66 American Diner good for kids and our personal favourite is No 6 by Genoa. There is padel tennis and crazy golf on site. In summer there is a large pool open at the community centre.

Los Alcazares has many restaurants near the 525 Hotel. Our favourite is Little Sicily and The Lounge bar opposite. You will need to book well in advance in summer.



Golf - The first tee of the Mar Menor golf course is a few minutes’ walk away. There are around 16 top quality golf courses within a 20-minute drive of which 5 have been designed by Jack Nicklaus.



Beaches – there is 250 km of coastline on the Costa Calida so you are spoilt for choice.



Sightseeing – Cartagena is a must see with its Roman amphitheatre and plenty of great tapas bars as well as Murcia city with its cathedral.



Activities - Murcia Terra Natura water park or Aquapolis water park in Torrevieja. Learn to kitesurf at Aloha kitesurf school in Los Alcazares.



Visit or take part in mud bathing at Lo Pagan beach. Spend a day relaxing at Archena spa 1 hour drive away. Take a wine tasting tour. Horseback riding at Rancho de la Fuente 30 minutes away.



There are local markets on at the weekends in Torre Pacheco and Los Alcazares.



In the winter months if you are ski enthusiasts you can drive to Sierra Nevada ski resort around 2.5 hours away. We stay for a couple of days at the Abades hotel Nevada palace in Granada which is reasonably priced and only 30 minutes to slopes. Visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada and great bars and restaurants.



Alicante Airport 1 hour drive. Murcia Corvera airport 20 minutes.



A car is recommended to appreciate all that the area has to offer but if you just want to play golf on the resort, relax, sunbathe, eat in/out then no need. You can taxi to and from airports or into Los Alcazares.
