We rented this property for 4 nights, 5 days and attended with 9 guests. When we checked in we noticed immediately how outdated the property was: - The master bathroom had stains around the floor along the toilet - The shower doors had calcium built up - A mattress had a big dried blood stain- Kitchen was stocked with very limited utensils and supplies. Didnt have a toaster to use, pots and pans completely destroyed- freezer handle was broken- doorknob of bathroom broken - Ants in living roomWhile communicating with this host was easy and she responded quickly, there were things you would just expect when renting a space this size without having to ask. For starters, there were only 6 towels provided. No extra bedding, hand or kitchen towels. No extra paper towel. We did ask and were provided with more towels and paper towels, but in all the spaces we have stayed in these things are always provided without having to be asked. The listing never mentioned anything about having renters staying in the basement. Only upon check in did we see signs stating we could not use the basement. It also said we had to be quiet by 10pm. When renting a house with two small children, we don’t want to worry if we are being too loud. That is why we rented a house and not a condo or a hotel. Overall our stay here was awful and would not recommend this property unless major renovations are completed and a deep clean is done.
