„The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.“

„This property is was perfect for my husband and I. Private, quiet, Great Lake access. Hot was fantastic. Kitchen had everything we could need. Super clean! Looks exactly like the pictures. I would say if you have an issue with stairs as they’re very steep to the bedroom and down to the dock, it might not be for you. But thankfully that wasn’t our case. Wonderful property! Will be staying again! “

„This unit was our base for a couple of days of hiking in the area. Very relaxing after miles on trails and had what we required but I would say the kitchen could use a bit more supplies (especially if your stay is more than 2 days) I would stay here again.“

„Such a nice property! Relaxing, comfortable, and cute decor. We stayed here to be close by to ride the Smoky Mountain Railway and it was 5 minutes from here. The deck was my favorite thing. We were treated to some great music coming from a venue below in town, being it was a Friday night. Loved it! I hope to return and will be staying here. The host was wonderfully thoughtful and helpful.“

„This property is AMAZING!!! It is private but yet within a short drive to restaurants, shops, and beautiful outdoor waterfalls/rivers. It is very well furnished, well decorated, and the landscaping is beautiful. Such a peaceful and wonderful get away!!!! The owner was so gracious and helpful with booking/check in and any questions.
