„Withi-Gill was a beautiful cottage in a remarkable landscape -- views of Hoy and Graemsay were beautiful (when the weather cooperated, which was most days), and with a short walk, views of much of the western part of Mainland Orkney, including Stromness. „This was a pleasant cottage with parking in front. It was nicely decorated and beds were very comfortable.It was five minutes from a co-op food shop which opens seven days a week 7 am to 10 pm. Almost opposite the bus station and a two minute walk to the ferry. Bike hire is available in Stromness. „Superb location in the centre of Kirkwall. Perfect for the two of us. There was an allocated parking spot for this particular apartment just out side of the front door, but someone else was parked in it for our entire stay. This is just a comment, not a complaint, as there was additional free parking near by which we used instead.“

„This location was a great place to stay to explore Orkney. We loved the isolated and peaceful area. Plenty to do and see if you are prepared to drive a few miles. Spectacular cliff top walks with an abundance of bird life. The accommodation has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We stocked up with everything we needed from Tesco in Kirkwall after getting off the ferry. “
