Oscar's Hideout - Sweet Hidden Gem Close to Downtown Clayton

This adorable cabin is a hidden gem in the Echota Falls and Boggs Mountain area of Tiger, GA. Not far from downtown Clayton and close to Tallulah Gorge, Oscar's Hideout is the perfect getaway to the North Georgia Mountains.

As you enter the cabin, the foyer offers a place to take your coat off and relax. Set up your laptop at the desk and check it when you want, when you can! You are on vacation! Turn the corner and you are in the dream kitchen. There is a double-door stainless steel refrigerator with a bottom-drawer freezer. The dishwasher has a stainless steel interior, making it top-of-the-line in washing and drying. The glass-top stove is digital and features an oven with both air fry and convection oven c apabilities. The microwave is in the roll-top cupboard. The copper pendant lights only add to the modern farmhouse feel of Oscar's Hideout.

Dinnerware is neatly tucked away in the oversized kitchen drawer. You will also find all the cookware and pans needed to prepare a fantastic meal. There are coffee mugs and glassware, cooking utensils and flatware for everyone. The coffee maker is a standard drip style, so bring your ground coffee. There is also a toaster and blender for your convenience. On the back side of the kitchen island are four stools so the chef of the house can show off skills while others look on! The dining table has room for four guests.

Just beyond the kitchen is the well appointed living room with a leather sofa and chairs. The focal point is the rock-faced electric fireplace with faux flames and a flat-screen television. On this main level you will find two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and their own bathroom with a walk-in shower and bench seat. The back bedroom also has French doors leading to the upper deck seating area.

Outside the French doors of the living room, is an outdoor seating area, a bench swing and a custom-made picnic table. The Grill Master of the group will be delighted to have a chance to use the Traeger Pellet Grill. The view from the upper deck is of the woods and tree-tops to down below at the Outdoor Firepit.

Take the modern spiral staircase down to the ground floor where you will find another living room with the largest of televisions and accented with a timeless wood cabinet full of DVDs. Cozy up on the leather couch for movie night or the unique leather chairs for a game of checkers. There are board games, golf putters and golf balls for your very own putting green outside.

The Master Bedroom is on this level with a king-size bed, large television, walk-in closet and the master bath. The master bath has a large tiled walk-in shower and a double vanity fit for a queen. The second downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a bath with a shower/tub combination. The washer and dryer are also located on the lower level.
