„Great service, very kind and friendly check in. The rooms are simple and you have to pay for the towels, but then again- the price of accommodation definitely justifies the payment for extras. Has a bar, open until 11pm. And it is genuinely all you need for a night stay. Also offers breakfast, full english for £9.99. And it is perfectly located for the Monsal Trail and ither walks.“

„Classy Hotel in an 18th Century Georgian architectural landmark which was saved by the Hotel Company. Went there first on a rushed business trip and went back half a year later to enjoy it finally with my partner. The pool is warm and not exactly for a sporty swimmer, but is nice with the opportunity to swim outdoors. Beds and Breakfast are excellent and up to the price. After finding the south of England more and more crowded, the Peak District is an area I was happy to discover.“

Could not hear the live band that was playing, but had some noise off the street. Would have scored more but the staff were a bit rude when I asked for extra pots of milk. „Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday! Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens and if you have a bike, the Peak District is also close by. I loved Sheffield and I loved the Florentine.“

„Vorab, es war sauber. Jedoch kein Zimmerservice. WLAN kostet extra7€. Ebenso die angegebene Sauna und der Parkplatz. Die Fenster sind einfach verglast und beim Frühstück laufen zwei Durchlauf Toaster. Das tut schon fast weh was die Umwelt angeht. Die Einrichtung ist brauchbar jedoch nicht hochwertig.“
