„Das Hotel ist schön auf einem Hügel in einem Wald gelegen. Daramasala sowie Dharamkot (kleiner Ort mit Hippieflair) können jeweils in 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Der Service im Hotel ist sehr gut und auch das beheizte Schwimmbad ist an kalten Tagen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt leider nur ein Restaurant. Indisches Essen ist dort gut (aber nicht herausragend). Von anderen internationalen Speisen (Pizza, Dumplings, etc.) sollte man dagegen die Finger lassen. “

„Great location, being less than 5 mins walking distance to the main shopping and dining area and Kalachakra Temple, yet feels quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. „Had a lovely stay at Chonor House. The hotel has beautiful Tibetan interiors and is a minute from the Dalai Lama Temple complex. There were some issues we had at the property - there seems to be a problem with the plumbing throughout and on one occasion, we found cockroaches at the breakfast area, but the staff was very nice and made changes as requested - changing rooms and changing the entire breakfast spread. „The property is perfectly located near the McLeod Gang monastery and a short walk to all the outdoor shops. The views from the rooms are stellar, and the staff is so courteous and professional.
