„Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.“

Jederzeit wieder👍👍👍“

„Freundlicher Empfang. Großzügiges Zimmer mit dazugehörigem Bad. Das Hotel liegt idyllisch. Service und Essen verdienen fünf Sterne.“

„Room clean with comfortable bed and nice bedding. Lovely waiter in the restaurant from South Africa. Breakfast nice with order service for poached/fried eggs. Plenty choice at bar.“

„The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.“

„Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, perfect and kind of only place for a business trip in the area. “

„The hotel was great and had a relaxing atmosphere. Good food and the staff were helpful and friendly. The spa was nice but in the smaller side so I would try and go during quieter periods. The room was a good size and very clean. At breakfast there was a good amount to choose from if you don’t have any specific dietary requirements.“

„The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.“

„Right next to the river and the restaurant, which is a very well run and picturesque restaurant. Fantastic breakfast, we dined right on the river. Something to watch out for though is if you’re an arachnophobe, you may have some issues. Being close to the river, the rooms can attract rather large spiders. Other than that, it’s amazing! I highly recommend it.“

„The look and the style of the room was great.“

„Living like in highclere Castle “
